I am Chris Andrews – an expert career and interview coach with many years’ experience helping people enter senior roles or make difficult career changes.  I understand that the key objective for clients is not just to “get a job”, but to get the job that offers you potential to move forward in your chosen career.

I am an expert on people development and interviewing, with years of experience working with candidates and HR departments in various corporations. Over this time, I have:

  • Assisted clients from graduates to C- and D- level executives on interview strategy, preparation and technique
  • Trained teams to deliver presentations with confidence and gravitas
  • Run psychometric tests as a qualified professional in this area
  • Audited and trained HR teams in competency-based interviewing skills
  • Trained senior management on “emotional intelligence” (EQ)

How I work with you

The ultimate goal of the coaching is to give you the confidence to go for that interview. Interviews are won by the best prepared, not always by the best candidate.

So to begin, I need some basic information to make a preliminary assessment of the level of support you might need. You do this by simply completing the form below, including submitting your CV and, if you have it, a job specification and person specification for the job you are targeting.

I will then contact you to discuss your needs and agree the level of support required. At this point, I will most likely ask you to fill in a questionnaire and undertake some preparation work before we begin any live training or coaching session.

The live session will follow and be via Skype or some other video conferencing technology, and will last about an hour. During this session I will work with you to boost your confidence, simulate interview questions, offer interview techniques and, of course, give feedback on your responses and non-verbal cues.

You can obtain additional coaching time before or following the first session to develop any of the areas covered in the first training session or have a dry run for a specific job interview.

For senior positions I will work with colleagues from Platinum who are senior managers in their own right. Together we offer a simulated panel selection interview process. This is demanding but is designed to raise your game to the top level.


The initial preparation work and coaching session is normally £150.

Time following the first session is based on approximately £50 per half hour but, as explained, I will give you an estimate of your likely total needs and costs once I have reviewed your questionnaire, and reviewed your CV and prospective job spec.
